Payouts Overview
Payouts are calculated based on the total amount paid by each player for their entries. The entry payout is determined by subtracting the table fee(Currently $5) from the total amount paid by the player.
For tournaments with cash or prizes added, the default payout distribution is as follows:
1st Place: 50% of the total payout
2nd Place: 30% of the total payout
3rd Place: 20% of the total payout
Please note that these percentages serve as general guidelines. The tournament director has the authority to modify the payout structure as needed to best suit the event.
Important Changes & Guidelines
1. Player Conduct & Issues: Player disputes are strictly between the players involved. Most of our players are adults and are responsible for managing their own differences. The tournament staff will not intervene in disputes—please handle disagreements respectfully and maturely.
2. Payouts & Match Forfeits: Payouts are based on your final finish. To receive payment, you must complete your matches. If a match is forfeited, the payout for that position will be added to the first-place prize. Splits are permitted if all players agree.
3. Open Tournament Policy: Everyone is welcome—no players are barred! We ask only that all participants treat the venue, tables, staff, and fellow players with respect. If you cannot adhere to this, please refrain from attending.
4. Balls: Players are responsible for bringing their own tournament-quality balls. All balls used in matches must meet tournament standards and be approved by the players involved before play begins. If there are any issues with the balls a player brings during a match, they will need to rent or purchase approved balls from the tournament director. We will have balls available for sale and rent at each event.
5. Tournament Entry Fees & Proof of Purchase: Entry fees will range from $10 to $15, with $5 allocated toward payouts. If you provide a recent receipt of a purchase of $5 or more from any of the host’s venues, your entry fee is reduced to $10. Without proof of such purchase, the entry fee remains at $15. (Note: Receipts can only be used once and must be from venues owned by the host.)
6. Tournament Structure : Wednesday Tournaments are Open DYP double elimination. Sunday Tournaments are round based, Forward/Goalie Draws. This is a twist on A/B draw that lets players decide. Players have a better percentage chance of getting the position wanted but no guarantee.
7. Due to only 2 tables: If 19 or more players attend an event the event can be changed to double elimination with 2/3 winners side and race to 7 in the losers rounds until 3/4th place which will switch back to a 2/3 match until the end of the tournament. This can be modified by the TD if needed based on time constraints but is the general rule.
